Peanut Butter and Chocolate Banana Bread
Traditionally banana bread recipes are passed down from grandmothers down to the next generations of bakers in their family. Banana bread recipes are all similar with slight variations which make them unique. Our Peanut Butter and Chocolate Banana Bread recipe below for banana bread hasn’t been passed down just yet! It was created with our new product in mind. Once Again Chocolate Nut Butter was created just a few months ago, and ever since then we can’t stop coming up with new ways to enjoy it.
At first Once Again Chocolate Nut Butter was used as a spread on fresh baked banana bread, which was amazing! We took it up a notch by now also adding it to the batter because we just couldn’t get enough of it. We still suggest you spread it on a slice of our Peanut Butter and Amoré Banana Bread and take your taste buds on a magical ride.
This Peanut Butter and Chocolate Banana Bread recipe is uncomplicated and nearly fool-proof; even first-time bakers will be tempted to try it! You won’t believe it doesn’t include any refined sugar in the ingredient list. All the sweetness is derived from the bananas, apple sauce, peanut butter and Chocolate Nut Butter. We love the look of layering the peanut butter batter and the chocolate flavored batter to create a beautiful marbled look.

It's better together! That's why we combined the flavors of hazelnut and cocoa in our chocolate layer and layered with a peanut butter. Perfection all in one bite! Not overly sweet, ideal to spread a little extra peanut butter on each slice.

Ingredients
- 2 bananas mashed
- ½ cup of applesauce
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup of Killer Bee Honey
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 ½ cup of oat flour
Directions
- In a medium-sized bowl, add bananas, applesauce, honey, and eggs. Beat at medium speed until combined. Add oat flour, baking soda, baking powder and mix well until combined. Divide the mixture into 2 bowls, half in each.
- To one half mix ¼ cup of Once Again Peanut Butter, to the other half add ¼ cup of Once Again Chocolate Hazelnut Butter.
- Mix each bowl until contents are combined. Now pour one mixture at a time onto 8x4 bread loaf pan and place in to a pre-heated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30-40 minutes.
- Insert toothpick and once removed dry, it is ready! Wait to cool before slicing. Store it in dry cool place for up to 5 days.
