Developing a Healthy Food Relationship
Having a good relationship with food is essential for overall wellbeing. This involves practicing mindful eating, maintaining balanced nutrition, and adopting principles of intuitive eating.
Mindful eating means giving your full attention to the eating experience, enhancing food enjoyment and facilitating conscious choices. A balanced approach to nutrition involves including a variety of food groups in your diet, comprising nutrient-dense foods and occasional treats.
Intuitive eating encourages you to listen to your body's hunger and fullness cues, reject diet mentality, and allow yourself to enjoy all foods. By trusting your body and enjoying all types of food without feeling guilty for eating, you can develop a healthier relationship with food. Once Again Nut Butter is proud to support your journey towards a positive food relationship by offering delicious, high-quality nut butters that can be a guilt-free addition to your balanced diet.

A delightful combination of dates and tahini come together to make these perfect brownie bites, covered in dark chocolate for an any time treat!

Ingredients
8 oz Medjool dates
-
½ cup of Once Again Organic Tahini
5 tbsp cocoa powder
1/4 tsp salt
¾ cup dark chocolate chips
Directions
It is easiest to make these in a food processor, but a high speed blender works too. First, soak the dates in warm water for about 30 minutes. Add the dates to a food processor along with the tahini and blend until you have an even mixture.
Add the cocoa powder and salt and blend again to combine. Press the mixture into loaf pan lined with parchment paper – I used an 8x4in loaf tin.
Freeze for 30 minutes, then slice into 8 squares. Dip each piece into the melted chocolate, you can to sprinkle some extra coarse salt on top too, then place on a chopping board lined with baking paper and refrigerate until the chocolate is set.
Store in an air-tight container at room temperature or in the fridge for up to 5 days
I enjoy eating dates on a regular basis and I really appreciate your recipes. 😀
